"Any prejudices I might have been harbouring were quickly dispelled, for this latest Rexton is an honest package, well put together, easy to live with, capable of off-road, good on it, and blessed with a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty." (Shooting Times & Country Magazine)
The latest SsangYong Rexton is positioned at an incredibly affordable price point, which combined with it’s impressive, 5 year limitless mileage warranty makes it one of the most affordable 4 wheel drive vehicles on the market, with serious towing power.
"If you need a cheap new load-lugging tow car then don't overlook the SsangYong Rexton." (The Telegraph)
Serious Pulling Power
We’ve been showing off the incredible towing potential and refined, no nonsense aesthetic of the Rexton at local caravan shows, but our demonstration models are available to try 1 on 1 at our SsangYong dealership in Tring. Give us a call or book a test drive online.
The Rexton’s 2.0 Litre Turbo Diesel engine is capable of towing up to 3 tons (around the weight of an adult elephant.)
Impressive Package at an Affordable Price
What you see is what you get with the SsangYong Rexton, it looks understated, solid and powerful, a legitimate towing machine.
"In low first, the Rexton would pull a house down, or more to the point a three-ton trailer through glutinous mud." (Shooting Times & Country Magazine)
"In the end the price is the biggest draw. For seven seats and big towing jobs, there’s nothing out there to touch it." (The Telegraph)
"Power comes from SsangYong's own 2.0-litre diesel engine with 155PS and 360Nm of torque which peaks from just 1500rpm making it ideal for towing. It has a three tonne towing capability too which is ideal if you have a full-size caravan or a double horsebox." (Honest John)
"The £25,995 top-of-the range EX version includes air conditioning, keyless entry, cruise control, seven seats, leather upholstery, electrically-adjustable driver’s seat and door mirrors, steering wheel audio controls, a six-speaker sound system, privacy glass, roof rails, side steps, 18in alloys and rear parking sensors." (Shooting Times & Country Magazine)
Overall, the SsangYong Rexton isn’t showy, but it’s hard to argue with a £50,000+ price difference between the top spec Rexton and top spec Range Rover, particularly if you’re looking for a hard working, honest towing vehicle.
"On size, the Rexton competes with the big boys from Chevy, Toyota and Hyundai. But it undercuts them on pricing by a good margin and has better equipment to boot. This and the automatic transmission (albeit old school) make a good case for the Rexton. Sure, the dynamics aren’t the best and the brand doesn’t have snob value, but we’re not sure you can ignore the kind of bang you get for your buck with the Rexton." (TopGear)
"I liked the Rexton for its solid attributes, and the confidence of its maker to provide it with a five-year, limitless-mileage warranty." (Shooting Times & Country Magazine)
The SsangYong Rexton W and the commercial equivalent; the Rexton CV, are both available at Grovebury Cars now. Both are covered by SsangYong's outstanding 5 year limitless mileage warranty, testament to SsangYong's confidence in their vehicles.
