Across all of the specifications of the 2015 Kia Sorento is a thicker dashboard which helps to reduce car noise and revised engine mounts which is aimed to reduce in car vibrations.
Driving Dynamics and Refinement
To ensure that the Kia Sorento offers even better driving dynamics, Kia has positioned the electric power steering system to the steering rack itself instead of the steering column. This is aimed at reducing steering kickback and give the electric power assistance a greater feel. The suspension's shock absorbers have also been altered. In the new Sorento model the shock absorbers are mounted vertically to allow greater body control and even more resistance to body roll.
Usability and Practicality
The owners usability of the Kia Sorento was at the forefront of the design process to ensure their driving experience is as easy as possible. With a 360-degree view parking monitor to ensure you have all you angles covered as well as an automatic tailgate which opens as you approach with the key. The new Kia Sorento model won't hold back on practicality either. With a remote one lever folding system for the rear most seats in the seven seater spec. A five seater model will also be available upon release. The all new Kia Sorento will be 95mm longer at 4,780mm with a wheelbase of 800mm which produces even more space for passengers in all three rows of seating.
A New Refined Design
The new Kia Sorento will feature an elongate bonnet as well as wide D-pillars as seen on the current Sorento model. The 2015 Kia Sorento model also has an enlarged grille and headlamps which are shaped back into the wings to provide for a sleeker and more refined appearance.
