The XLV is a 'smart user interface' B - Segment SUV concept car. The XLV is able to produce incredibly low CO² emissions due to it's hi-tech hybrid system. The XLV uses both a 1.6 litre diesel engine twinned with an electric motor powered by a lithium ion battery. With it's hybrid system the XLV is able to produce a CO² level that is 10% lower than it's competitors.
The 'smart user interface' is part of an advanced technological communication system called the '3S-Cube' which is a combination of Smart-Link, Safe-Way and Special Sense. 'Smart Link' continuously provides new data to allow various functions and control systems to update, including to smart electronic devices and cruise control as well as lane-keeping assistance and the automatic emergency brake systems. The 'Safe-Way' feature provides a number of different features to ensure driving convenience. The 'Special-Sense' allows the driver to create how their information is presented.
